Juliet Bashir was hoping to do some actual good at the posting she'd chosen on Deep Space Nine. That was all she really wanted after everything she'd been through. She wasn't really expecting to be dragged into the a not so cold war, a spy plot worthy of the holo-programs she played as a teenager, and what some people might call an ill advised friendship with the only Cardassian on the station. It doesn't hurt that she's a wildly interesting older woman with a killer smile and ice blue eyes. Juliet is pretty sure that this might be a wildly bad idea, but she's going to have fun while it lasts.

“Doctor,” Garak takes the hypo into his hand and brings it to his face to inspect it. It stays nondescript.
“Yes?”
“What did you just drug me with?”
Julian smiles. He sits at the edge of the table, one leg up, leaning back, and looks Garak over. He remembers every adage he heard at the Academy about tailoring your approach to the individual patient, and he says:
“Wouldn’t you like to know?”

Garak comes to the Infirmary. Garak threatens Julian. Julian orchestrates a delightful follow-through for this situation where everyone gets the attention they need.
