Summary
"Yeah, why does that something always seem to be you?"
Castiel isn't as angel as he used to be. He at one point could hide the emotions he was feeling but here. Well Dean didn't really give him much of a choice.
Dean's hurting.
Sam's hurting.
And so is Castiel.
He lost his son, he lost a friend or two in the last couple weeks and then finding out the father you always wanted to believe in was more of a sham than ever before.
Well something inside of him, something that feels just so human in himself just breaks.

Summary
Dean knew the inviable, Chuck; if given the chance would have killed his first son but seeing it to give the Winchesters the time they needed to go against Chuck still felt jarring. Though getting flung by some cosmic deity was less than favorable.
“Father.” Michael spoke.
“Son.” Chuck said. “And listen, I appreciate the heads up about all of this.” While Chuck walked closer to Michael.
This was something the Winchesters planned. Michael knew he could placate his father to the bitter end.
“It’s always been my destiny to serve you.” Michael said and Dean could hear the needles spit out of Michael’s mouth. If it was anyone else, you could have heard the fake sincerity, but Dean heard the spite. Poor Bastard had to play daddy’s favorite son to the end.
“Yeah, the thing is, its kind of late in the game. And you did side with the Winchesters. I can’t forgive that.” Not even remorse in Chuck’s voice. This must have been what Michael knew would happen because even Michael wasn’t surprised.
Something Dean never thought he would ever do was send a thank you in a silent prayer to Michael before Chuck killed him. -

Summary
Yuna’s entire body aches, and it would appear that her instincts were right— Rozanov is small, and he’s vulnerable, and he’s tired, and he needed somewhere safe to rest.
And Yuna can’t help the weird sense that she’s honoured— her home was somewhere for Rozanov to go, even if she and David knew nothing about any of it, even if they still don’t, Shane knew it would be safe for Rozanov here. Shane told him to come home.

Summary
Shane’s eyes snap open. Wait a second.
“Ilya,” Shane says, propping himself up on his elbows. “Ilya, wake up.”
Ilya makes a pained noise, eyes still shut. “I shut curtains already.”
“It’s not that. Ilya, hey. Don’t go back to sleep.” Ilya tries to bury back into Shane’s chest, but adrenaline knifes through Shane’s hangover long enough for him to peel Ilya off and roll him into his back. Ilya blinks blearily up at him, starfished in the sheets. Beautiful and naked and missing his mother’s cross.
OR: When Ilya’s cross goes missing after the Centaurs celebrate their first Stanley Cup win, Shane is determined to get it back. And so are the Centaurs. And the rest of Ottawa.

Summary
Ilya was only a few strides behind Shane on the ice.
He clocked the angle before the hit even landed; Marlow coming in too hot, too fast, shoulder high. Shane turned and slowed at the wrong moment, skates clipping, balance gone.
Impact.
The sound carried oddly through the arena, duller than boards, sharper than ice. Shane went down hard, helmet skidding, body twisting. And then it all happened at once. Skates tangled. Marlow stumbled over him as he fell, too. A skate’s blade flashed too close, too sharp.
--------------------------------
Shane's injuries during the Boston/Montreal game are much more life-threatening than in canon. Ilya's quick thinking and bone-deep instincts are the only reason he survives.

Summary
In which I put Hollanov into SituationsTM as if they were living in a procedural TV show land like Criminal Minds, The Rookie, Castle or Bones. Where, yes, hockey players attract a lot of trouble and then sort of end up solving crimes to save each other’s lives.
✨ Long live the power of looooooove and crazy shenanigans ✨
