Sequel to A New Mission: Ash to Fire
(Spoilers to the first story in summary and tags!)
Many years after peace has been reached on Pandora, former RDA recombinants Miles Quaritch, Lyle Wainfleet, and Devin Mansk have created fulfilling lives for themselves among the Ash Na’vi. Miles leads the people as Olo'eyktan with the love and support of his fierce Ash Na'vi mate, Zukriyä. On their paradise volcanic archipelago, the three recoms contend with a great new mission—raising their families. However, such may prove to be the most difficult mission they’ve ever had, as the actions and decisions of their adolescent children will force their parents to contend with the dangers of Pandora, their relationships with their kids, and rivalries thought to be buried long ago.

A New Mission: Ash to Fire was like Quaritch's Avatar, so this sequel is like Quaritch's Way of Water where Miles, Zu, Lyle, and Mansk are thrust into a new adventure because of their children. Numerous beloved Avatar characters return and make appearances, many of them central to the plot. Our recoms are also forced to face their past.

Summary
Miles Quaritch failed his first mission to kill Jake Sully, the leader of the Na’vi insurgency. Now, the RDA and Bridgehead Command have a new mission for him and his surviving recoms, Wainfleet and Mansk—a mission to gather intel and make an alliance with the newly contacted Ash People, a Na'vi clan endemic to a volcanic archipelago. What’s at first just orders will slowly come to change the young Colonel’s life and his relationship with Pandora, his son, and the RDA forever.

This story is essentially an Avatar 3 (with heat and flare!) through Miles Quaritch's eyes after the events of the Way of Water and continuing his parallels with Jake Sully. The story expands to a film-sized scope as it progresses. Features Miles' existential crisis & also movie-era flashbacks. Lyle Wainfleet and Mansk are also greatly developed. Did my best to be logical and reasonable with the movies' set canon and sequel foreshadowing. Also, if smut is not your thing, there's not a lot and it's written to be skippable! Summary
Olina didn't sign up for any of this. She swore an oath to do no harm and save as many lives as possible. She was just following her husband's lead when the RDA pitched the idea of them becoming the peacekeepers between humans and the Na'vi on their new home.
But what they were doing to this planet, to the people... to the children. They must be stupid to think she'd do their dirty work. She was going to stop them, and her darling Miles was going to help her, even if that meant she had to drag him along the way.
