Summary
Clawed fingers drag across the wall, leaving jagged marks in a long, lazy trail. It's strange how easy it is, for jagged claws to cut through wood and concrete and metal. There are a lot of things strange about the Upside Down, it's inhabitants most of all.
Will supposes he counts as one now. It's certainly been long enough, and he's changed enough that he fits right in.

Summary
"Johnny."
The word is familiar, but he can't quite grasp its meaning. It is said with intent, a voice outside of his own, not that he's spoken in awhile. Who would he speak to?
"Johnny." The voice calls again, and this time he catches the worry in the tone, the relief, the fear. Why is it afraid? It's such a pretty voice, with the slightest metallic ring. It's nice to listen to, he thinks, even with the fear. He can't remember the last time he heard another voice.
"Open your eyes." The voice says. He isn't sure when he closed them, but he never is these days. The darkness and the light look a lot alike. He obeys the voice, if only because he wishes to know to whom it belongs.

It was an accident. It was an accident. He was tired, he didn't know the orbiting planet around the old star was inhabited, hadn't cared enough to make sure. None of the stars he'd eaten sustained life, why would this one be any different? The one time his exhaustion overpowers his sense. The one time the black hole that used to be his gut overpowers his desire to get home as soon as possible.
He was just so tired. He didn't mean to steal their sun.

“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Summary
Obito watches from the window as Kakashi leans over the crib, his finger enclosed in a small, chubby fist. The boy is awake, his feet kicking randomly, his eyes watching the ANBU.
Kakashi makes his rounds here. He’s the only protection the orphanage has, really. But this isn’t part of his route.
Tonight, Kakashi has scrolls in the pouches of his standard-issue flak jacket. The greys of his ANBU uniform are gone, his hitai-ate slanted over his left eye, the ANBU mask nowhere in sight. Hung over his shoulders is a large backpack, the tantō sheath hanging instead from his belt.
Kakashi lifts the small, squirming bundle into his arms and body-flickers out of the orphanage.
Oh, this’ll be good.
OR:
Not all is lost after the failure of the fox attack, because the kyūbi's new host is an easy target. The problem is that, apparently, Kakashi is willing to abandon his village for a chance at parenthood.
If only he showed that dedication toward Rin.

Summary
No one can know this, but he came from the moon. When the sun falls and the stars breathe life into the sky, he stares up at the biggest star of them all, and reaches for it. But his arms are too small, and he’s too weak, and even if he stretches really high, it’s too far away.
But that's okay. One day, when he’s all grown up and strong, he’ll jump as high as he can, and cross the distance between them.
Until then, he has to live. Because only the living can meet again.

Obito is a young alien with nowhere to go, who learns about the world through the people he meets. He's adopted (dragged) into the Uchiha clan, but finds kinship in the Hatake.
