Delissandro stood, knocking the unknown dairy islander dressed in fruitleather beneath him fully out. He saw his mother surrounded by five more, for now upright, marauders. He let out a shout, aiming to throw his spear, about to call and reveal the nature of their enemy.
But before he could, he felt a sharp pain as something extremely solid knocked into the soft part below his skull, instantly bringing him to his knees as a bony hand guided him down by the shoulder and a quick kick to the back of his knees. Then a cold press of metal against his exposed neck as the hold on his shoulder tightened, the figure behind him calling out, "drop your weapons or your thane gets it." The voice was cold, calm…
It was as if the world slowed around him, the fighting coming to a halt rapidly as his people noticed his distress.

Summary
Stolas was home alone once again, his darling Octavia with her mother for the weekend. He planned to spend it on the couch watching horrible tv and eating cereal, but due to his usual broadcast being down, he found himself on a channel surely nobody watched?
A catchy jingle played for the next commercial, Stolas popping another bite of cereal into his mouth. Stolas spit out the bite of cereal and coughed, falling off the couch, as he saw just who it was that appeared on screen. “My name is Blitz, the O is silent and I am the head of I.M.P.” Stolas’ head turned 180 degrees, as he was clinging to the couch trying to come back up, coming face to face with… Someone he remembered well.
The next morning found him at the office building of I.M.P. A contract in hand and a work uniform to put on...
How... How did that happen???
Or: Stolas working at I.M.P. because he is lonely with Octavia being gone for half the week and somehow still falling in love with Blitz.

And that was what hit him, only then. Only then all alone in the outlands, well into his twenties, the past dead, his future killed. It hit him what exactly happened to him. As he laid there, looking at the stars, he remembered the clouds above Pangranos, city so bright that the stars hid. He remembered the touches to his arm long before they had officially started their hidden relationship. The glances sent his way he had not been able to read back then. The things she would tell him, ask him.
He had been a boy, his mother just died and his other mother had been inconsolable. And now... After everything, his aunt was dead too. Deli left. He was alone, following in his mother's footsteps to the outlands. If only he could meet her here... He missed him mom.
Warning: This story discusses grooming of a child and the negative consequences this has on said child's mental state even after the child gets out of the situation. It also discusses trying to move on and how it's not always linear.

Theobald stared at the display the cotton candy monk was putting on, honestly impressed. He looked to Lapin, who had turned in his hold. "If he is not another ex, how do you know him," Theobald asked. "Because I briefly saw him when meeting Lazuli."
Lapin actually stammered, looking away, blushing…! What was happening!? "He uhm… we are… long distance, so to speak…?"
"Wait he is your current lover…?!"
"Theo, I swear if you do not make this jump I will strangle you! Now go so I can thunderstep off this boat!" Theo did, but barely, avoiding falling into the milk sea.~~~~
The cotton candy man turned to him in a moment of respite. “I like your sword.” Despite the chaos going on, he had an easy smile on his face, head tilted as he watched Theobald knock another stinking cheese into the ocean below.
“I like your whole vibe,” he called out, and surprised himself with how honest it was.Well... Theobald was in trouble...
~~~~Or, Lapin and Cumulous got married when they were young to piss off the sugarplum fairy, making Lapin technically closer to the Rocks family than she could have ever imagined.

Summary
While it isn't terribly ideal to drag an Ancient One through the void, stuff it into the Archive, and use the cosmic "blend" setting on high, Jon's got no other choice if he wants to exist again after leaving his old reality.
Another round at predictable events with more time to prepare and more abilities to utilize should mean keeping everyone safe is a piece of cake, but it's more of a chaotic donut with unexpected filling than anything else.
Or, The Fanfic Equivalent of A Large Flailing Inflatable. It's bigger than it has any right to be, weirdly fun to watch unfold, and it goes exactly where you'd expect while hitting other places you had no idea were even an option.

Summary
Two otherworldly, unknowable Entities decided to make a bet. Or is that some kind of projection? They can't make bets, right? They probably don't even know how to play games like poker or blackjack. They probably don't care about what a playing card is. Probably. Who knows? They're unknowable.
All Jon knows is that he's not a fan of the apocalypse, and apparently neither the Eye nor the Web are, too. He wants to understand, but he wants to fix things more. So he can hold off on asking questions, at least until his people are safe.
So when he's sent back in time, given another chance, he's not going to make the same mistakes twice.
No more apocalypse.
