But the foxes are, in their strange ways, kind; Abby is firm in her care, Wymack is gruff in his concern, and Andrew is hilariously blasé in his curious interest. He has been trapped for almost 8 years, operating as Cardinal, an anonymous cyber-vigilante giving tips to the heroes and dumping the less solid evidence onto the internet for the world to see. He has long accepted that this is his role, he will operate from the background, help his heroes, and fuck with Luthor’s goals at every chance he gets.
Everything changes when five young heroes are kidnapped by Luthor, and Tim is reunited with Kon.
A chance for new family, new friends, a new life hangs in the balance, and if Tim plays his hand just right, he might finally get everything he never dared to dream of

While he's preparing for another long, grueling competition season, Airplane runs into Mobei-jun (quite literally), the schools "Ice King" and ruthless hockey player. He's a new transfer, and he has single-handedly brought an end to the hockey team's long-running losing streak. At first, Airplane is sure that he's some sort of terrifying monster, but as they slowly move into each other's orbits, he realizes that Mobei-jun might not be as cold as he first seems.

“Bloodsucker.” He greeted, leaning one elbow against the bar and crowding into Adam’s space as much as was possible when there was a long wooden slab between them, “How’s it going?”
Adam couldn’t stop the look of disgust from crawling onto his face, but he quickly tamped it down into an apathetic expression, “What do you want?”
“No warm welcome?” The man mocked.
“For you?” Adam responded? “Not likely.”
“Seems like everything worked out well for you.” The man rapped his knuckles against the bar and looked Adam up and down in a slow movement, “All things considered.”
If Adam could blush, he would have.
The first time Adam had seen this man, he hadn’t thought much about him, a little bit too panicked at that moment. But now that he was right in front of him, looming into his space, Adam realised that he was really quite attractive, which was infuriating. He hated it when mean people were attractive, because it always seemed like such a waste.
