Summary
When a chance meeting wakes up Ventus, he finds himself awakened in a world that is completely unfamiliar to him. Left to pick up the pieces of the aftermath of the final battle with Xehanort, and with Terra and Aqua nowhere to be found, he quickly finds a girl named Naminé and decides to follow her, seeing this mysterious girl as his only way of figuring out what’s going on. What follows is a series of adventures where the two of them (eventually joined by a certain replica) set off on a series of journeys together where Ventus attempts to figure out what happened while he was asleep, Naminé learns about her own worth as a person, and Xion attempts to figure out what her purpose is in the world. All the while Ventus finds himself growing closer and closer to the girl Naminé, who he quickly learns is more than meets the eye.
