When D29 wakes and sees him, something goes wrong.

A 'mining accident' results in Orion Pax and D-16 ending up aboard the Lost Light, and they find out that, yes, other Cybertonian's exist outside of their universe.
Or as Swerve put it: “Because, yes, we’re on a ship. The Lost Light. And if you don’t know that, then I should have probably called in backup about five minutes ago.”
AU which takes place post Lost Light (specifically after the comics ended) and pre Transformers One.

Prowl was created to serve the Prime. It does not matter which Prime. However, over the years, people have lost track of the Primal Drone, and no one thinks to look twice at quiet, competent Chief of Staff Prowl.
Until Meister is given a mission by the Decepticons to assassinate Prowl, and makes a fascinating discovery.

Summary
The Constructicons' repressed pining for a certain tactician finally comes to a head. Devastator has decided it's time he takes matters into his own hands.
Megatron scrambles to regain control of his combiner. Optimus would just like his second back. The Autobots and Decepticons have to work together to solve Prowl's Devastator problem, all while humanity and the rest of the galaxy watch it all go down on Live TV.
Prowl can't possibly be any more humiliated! Jazz can't possibly be any more entertained!

Summary
There was always the surreptitious threat of everything they’d built coming down like an avalanche of trials. In this volatile experiment they called peace, an unweighted touch or word could be the heat to set it all off and burn it to cinders.
An old, ubiquitous part of him said he would do anything to prevent Cybertron from a deplorable end… A covetous but just as present part of him said he would dare risk it, just to get a taste of that forbidden ‘what if’.
