To say a day like this was "a long time coming" would have been one of the greatest understatements of their generation, akin to the likes of "Grimm are evil"; "Salem and Ozpin's souls are both old"; or "Everything happened so fast since starting Beacon I'm not even sure how old I am anymore".
But the day has eventually come around: Yang and Blake are tying the knot today; they are to be married.

Nodding Astarion fished the small purple vial from his shirt pocket and removed the cork. He passed it off to Tav trying hard to keep himself from falling apart. The man didn’t hesitate or think twice. He brought the liquid to his mouth and took it down in one gulp. Tav's smile was meek when he finally met Astarion’s gaze after it was done.
