    Summary

“From Druid’s mouth to Druid’s ear.” So the saying goes, for the Druids kept no scrolls, no tablets, no written word. But in a tradition where memory is everything, the greatest threat may not come from axe or sword — but from forgetting.

When the Romans uncover the story of a long-banished druid named Veritix—whose experiments with memory once threatened the very foundation of Druidism—they hatch a daring scheme to silence the indomitable village once and for all. Using Veritix’s knowledge, they plan to erase Getafix’s memory of the magic potion forever.

But by a cruel twist of fate, it is not Getafix who falls victim… but someone who might be even more dangerous.

    Summary

The village was at peace as usual and better yet it was the period of time where the Romans would stay away for a while in order to strategize a new attack plan against the Gaul's that would ultimately fail every time.

But recently during these tranquil moments the chiefs niece has suddenly arrived to stay in the village for some time due to her father's wish for her to properly experience true Gaulish culture before commiting to an important decision. Obelix as her official tour guide is happy to show her around and act as her self appointed bodyguard, so much so that he spends most of his day doing so with a smitten grin on his face which unfortunately leaves Asterix all alone to find new ways to pass the time.

    Summary

“I just don't see what the problem is.”

Obelix furrows his brow, tilting his head slightly sideways as he attempts to accurately read his best friend's expression. There's something there he's never seen before, a dark shadow lingering behind Asterix’ normally bright eyes that he can't seem to decipher. In fact, the more he thinks about it the less sense it makes—the more it confuses him. He wants to reach out and so he follows the whim, a gentleness to his touch that is generally only reserved for Asterix. He hesitates which is another oddity, but makes contact nonetheless—except it’s not accepted. With an irritated huff, Asterix shrugs the comforting hand off and the inherent fondness in Obelix’ chest hardens.

“Of course you wouldn’t,” Asterix scoffs. “You don’t see anything, do you?”

“Oh, I don’t see anything, huh?”

    Summary

When young Stubbornina arrives in the Gallic village on the Armorican coast, Asterix’ life takes a new turn. The girl is unbearable. She is stubborn, absolute, and nationalistic. She's obsessed with killing the poor Romans, wears pants instead of skirts, carries weapons, and insists on joining every adventure. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated, leading each of them to new realizations about themselves, life, and love.
Cherry on the cake: the sly gaze of Getafix, who can foresee what he doesn’t already know, and the stoic wisdom of Obelix, who has philosophized about life like no one else.
