Mira kept her soulmarks hidden, always. As a child, she liked to look at them, tracing the abstract lines with her eyes and finding new shapes and patterns. Every soulmark was unique, a code that could only truly be read by a soulmate. To other eyes, it shifted and swayed into a mass of outlines and colors, beautiful but undefined. To a soulmate, it was like a night sky; different constellations hidden within it, revealing themselves before your eyes.
When she moved to Seoul, she couldn’t see the stars anymore, not with all the lights. She had stopped looking at her marks years before, as soon as she had presented as an omega. Now, they were just a representation of a new gilded cage that she would do anything to avoid. Mira told herself it was the price she paid for freedom, losing the stars and her own constellations.

Summary
Rumi and Zoey need a new roommate in order to keep their larger dorm, but they have to navigate hiding Rumi's half-demon nature from their fresh transfer student Mira.
When the girls find themselves both head over heels for their new roomie, they begin to struggle with wanting to add her into their relationship.
All seems well until more demonic abilities start to develop and the girls feel their world tear open. With Celine urging them to train with her to be Hunters, the girls need to navigate their coursework with their new demon fighting side gig to save the world.

Which would be difficult enough if they weren't all still reeling from the worst month of their lives, and the trauma that threatens to pull at the threads of their bonds.

Which of course cycled back to her horrible stupid idiotic life. In no way should a human have been able to see her let alone address her. Then again, she supposed even as she fought to swallow the lodge in her throat, this particular human shouldn’t have been able to see the faceless that she’d been consuming either.
Or; the girls accidentally acquire a pet. The pet put herself here. She’s happy. Leave her alone.

Summary
Rumi does not remember much of her life before the Bite, only soft shadows of memories and flickers of feelings that are as confusing as they are fleeting, but she remembers them.
She knows that she loves them with the same absolute certainty that she had known her own name; that she loves them deeply, desperately and with utter devotion. She has wanted to find Zoey and Mira for years, but Father has forbidden it and Rumi, angry but dutiful, must obey.
But when Rumi sees them again after so long a hunger like nothing she has ever known roars to life inside her.
Mira can’t shake the awful feeling that something is watching them.
