“The boys paced around the cell like caged animals. Yaz shivered and adjusted the Doctor, who was lying across her lap. In doing so she caught sight of the other woman’s face, which was white as a sheet, covered by a film of sweat. Yaz bent her head to check (yet again) her breathing. The Timelord’s chest was rising and falling, but her breathing was definitely harsher than it had been. They were running out of time.”
The Doctor is very good at thinking on her feet, often getting herself and her companions out of difficult situations. But when she is incapacitated, will they be able to do the same?
(Basically the Doctor goes poking her nose where it’s not wanted, and the consequences turn out to be more drastic than usual)

For everything.” She put down the phone before she could say anything she might regret, or anything sappy. The plan was out of her hands now.”

Tegan and Nyssa deserve their happy ending. Ace McShane is doing her absolute best to give it to them.

The words slipped between them like an unadorned vow. Yet it somehow sank into Caitlyn’s chest like weightless gravity.
Her whole body went still.
She forgot how to breathe.
For a second, she almost thought she was underwater again, but not drowning. Just suspended and floating. Held.
OR
