Vaggie felt furious hands grasp for her wings, and then a mighty, powerful tug.
Her attacker pulled with such force that Vaggie felt as though her entire skeleton was going to be ripped from her body—through her meat and muscle—leaving nothing but empty skin behind. She wanted to scream, she wanted to cry out, but she couldn’t muster any more sound.If she did, would anyone come to help her?
She only had a brief moment to consider that question before she was interrupted by a horrific pop and a splitting pain in her shoulders.
