He was awake but everything was black. Somewhere far off he could feel that he was lying down, but the pressure on his back didn't feel real, or right. It felt like something was wrong with him. Slowly more senses came back to him and he heard a frantic, low voice speaking.
“He’s waking up!”
“Sai! Saitama! Can you hear me?” It was the same voice. They sounded near tears. “Come on, anything, please!” Things were getting clearer and he tried to speak, but only got out a groan. “Oh thank the gods…”
“I'm so sorry Saitama-san.” Still the same voice. Why was he apologizing?
