Summary
In Valinor, things were clearer and simpler, but with the Oath and the Kinslaying at Alqualondë, everything became much more complicated, especially in the Hither Lands. Even at their first encounter in the wilderness of Beleriand, She seemed untouchable and more so after she learnt about the Murder of Her kin. Although he was royalty and tenacious in pursuing his interests, having Her still seemed impossible for Celegorm.
In the Hither Shores life was, without a shred of doubt, difficult and still, there was no place she could not go, no nook she could not reach. His folk was strange but intriguing, yet it was her fervent wish to get to know Him, the man of her recurring dreams. However, after she had learnt about it, the death of the mariners of Swanhaven filled her with sorrow. From that day on Hwinlaer could not bear the sight of Him anymore; both her morals and her duty to her homeland dictated so.
May the Eru tell, how will this Shadow disappear?
