    An alternate history of Westeros with a much more ambitious and reformist House Targaryen, one which builds a much more intricate system for governing the Realm and is not content with having enough, one which did not stop breaking the status quo by forging the Iron Throne. Starting from before the Reign of Aegon the Conqueror.

    We all know how the events of the Great Council of 233 AC played out. The Lords of Westeros elected Aegon Targaryen, the fourth son of a fourth son, to be their King, but what if his older brother, vowed and chained to the order of the Maesters of the Citadel, took up that responsibility instead?
    Thanks to the interference of Bloodraven and his Old God magic, Aemon Targaryen goes from a Maester to a King within mere days. Westeros, therefore, ends up going down a different path. King Aemon Targaryen, the First of His Name, is a good man, but he is not a fool. With guidance from a certain infamous uncle and his younger brother, Aemon Targaryen attempts to govern the realm into a time of peace. The shame of oathbreaking is not going to stop him from doing his duty as King.
    However, you know what they say. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Aegor Rivers still plays Kingmaker in Essos, believing that the King is weak since he takes after King Aerys with his quills and prophecies. There is only one way to find out if he has the right of it.
    Bloodraven versus Bittersteel round three is on the way, but will it be their last?
