Percy’s late for dinner again. This isn’t uncommon - honestly, before they’d gotten together, Vex is pretty sure the only reason Percy ate regularly was that he would be dragged (down from his room, or up from his workshop as the case may be) to eat with them: left to his own devices his timekeeping goes out the window.
So- she knows to expect this. She’d known to expect this from before they’d gotten together - this is standard Percy behaviour, losing track of time. But… it’s one thing to know and another thing to experience. It’s one thing to know his terrible timekeeping but also to have the evidence of how readily he makes time for her and projects for her and for her worries. It’s one thing to be aware it might happen, it’s another for it to happen three days in a row and god but she wishes she could rely on him to be there.
There are days, especially recently, when she’d really like for him to be there.

Severus sunk lower in his chair, staring witheringly over his butterbeer. "You told Potter about it, too?"
"He might as well put all that energy to good use," said Lily. "And, to be accurate, I told Remus."
"But Potter, really?" said Severus.
"He and Black cooked up a jinx that gives you a boil every time you say a slur to a Muggleborn," said Lily. "It was either invite them to Alice's war club or bake them cookies, and I know where my skills lie."
Severus sniffed. "Don't come crying to me if he tugs your pigtails."
"Come crying to me if he pulls yours, and I'll deck him," said Lily.

Ashaeft (not her given name, but the only name she’s ever known) has been in the care of the Jedi Order as long as she can remember, raised with seven other Purebloods. They are considered ideological victories, the triumph of Jedi ideals over Sith cravenness, and - not openly, but by some - proof that the Jedi are meant to eradicate the Sith from existence, if not through combat, then through the erasure of their culture and way of life.
Ashaeft wholeheartedly believes in the Order, what it stands for, and its mission, and looks forward to having many opportunities to serve as she ventures forth from Tython.
A story of perspective and how it changes for one Jedi in the course of her adventures across the galaxy. Will touch on some canon events and feature some canon rewrites.
