Matthew sure didn't want to listen to the rest of Arthur's presentation. Why not just walk out of the meeting? It's easy to play hooky when no one notices you're there in the first place-- except this time, someone did notice.
The Canadian went from listening to a Brit blab on about nothing at all, to listening to an obnoxious Prussian talk about how awesome he was.
He begged for some peace and quiet, just this once, but it was to no avail.
