“FUCK OFF BOWERS!"
Henry showed no hesitation as him and his goons shoved Richie and Eddie against the metallic lockers. No one dared interfering, no one wanted the target on their back.
There was a horrible clang that filled the air as Henry wrenched open the nearest locker, grabbing the pair of friends by the collar and forcing them face first into the dark cage, dangling a small padlock through the slit of light that was coming from the now barely opened locker.
“This’ll teach you queers what happens when you fuck with us, even though I reckon I’m doing you a favor trashmouth,

Summary
After stumbling upon a flyer for a shared apartment, a depressed Jonathan leaves home in the hopes of finding peace. When he discovers who the other tenant is, he considers leaving—but remaining changes things in his life.
As he studied Steve, he noticed something was different. Something about him had changed. Whether it was maturity, he couldn’t tell—but things weren’t as he remembered. For one, he looked worn out, like life had finally caught up to him. The confident sparkle in his eyes was no longer there—instead, it was replaced with something else. Something darker. Hurt. That alone was easy enough for Jonathan to identify.
Even though his instincts screamed at him to pull away—something else, something he couldn’t suppress—urged him to stay. Jonathan couldn’t decipher what it was. Desperation, empathy, or perhaps a sense of longing. Because when the two of them made eye contact, Jonathan found that outwardly, they were no different.
