((Obligatory first AO3 fic))“I gave you ibuprofen because it also reduces swelling and inflammation, so it should help in that way.” He stands, taking an experimental step out of the alley and Ares steps to the side. “Make sure to keep the wound clean and change the wrappings 1-2 times a day or as often that’s needed to keep them from being soaked.”
He picks up the grocery bags at the end of the alley and walks around the corner toward his apartment. Then he books it.;or Tommy just wanted to make coffee, take care of his friends, and not die.
He didn't sign up to get in danger and gain a family of villains. What is his life at this point?Updates are still being worked on; I just have executive dysfunction.

Summary
“Look. It would solve both their problems! Doc needed to volunteer. Ren needed a volunteer.
And besides. It couldn’t hurt to see Ren again. Probably.”
While trying to get approved as a foster parent, former foster child Doc Monsterra finds himself helping out his old college friend and longtime crush with the local Buttercup Scouts troop! It’s not all fun and games and selling cookies, though, and Doc soon finds himself entangled in the lives of the kids he’s helping out. As cookie season begins and the annual scout camp approaches, Doc grows closer to Ren and to the kids, and finds his life changed forever.
This is my fic for the MCYTblr Summer Big Bang! It was inspired by the amazing art created by WatchMeWhirl, which will be linked in the notes of each chapter!
