A supervillain puts his nemesis in the hospital. When he goes to visit, he discovers that a bout of amnesia has convinced his enemy they're actually boyfriends. It's the perfect opportunity for an evil plot, right? That's the excuse he gives his henchpeople, anyway.

Miriam thought the job working for InGen sounded perfect. Tropical island, good pay, first dibs on publications… At least, she thought so until she found out that she was the only behaviorist on staff. Once the eggs hatched, it became all she could do to keep up–with the dinosaurs, the science, and her health.

Home is where you make it. Or, the AU where Loki falls to Earth after Thor, wanders around trying to work out what to do with himself, and somehow ends up working for SHIELD. (Mostly because supervillains are so plebian.)

“Do you think they forgot about us?”

Jonnit’s voice has gotten progressively more anxious over the last day. Really, Travis can hardly blame him; to a boy as young as he is, a few days of uncertainty must feel like a lifetime. It’s funny, though, so he takes his time responding, leisurely stretching his arms upwards and linking his fingers behind his head.

“Forget us? No,” he says with a dismissive sniff. “They could never forget us.”

Jonnit nods quickly a few times and mumbles affirmations to himself, clearly taking heart. Travis waits for the newly resolved hope to grow for a few more moments.

“Yeah, you’re right,” Jonnit says louder. “They wouldn’t—”

“Now, leave us behind on purpose? I wouldn’t throw that one out of the equation.”

    --

Jonnit and Travis are stranded on an empty mountain peak and have to deal with the cold, hunger, and, worst of all, each other.
