Teddy, he was called. This lanky kid with bright blue hair, a piercing too many, a tattoo inked onto his wrist, —a semicolon— and a look that could turn anyone into stone on his face. These were the moments when Remus really doubted his choice in profession. Those cold, hard, angry stares from children he had to move from home to home in his little bright blue mini cooper, rattled him, but at least it was somewhat better than little children who would scream and cry for their parents.
He spared a glance beside him. Teddy was curled up in the passenger seat, knees pressed up to his chest, arms crossed resting on his knees. His face surly and he made no move to look at Remus. Taking the lack of response as an answer, Remus sighed softly, trying not to let the ever familiar resignation settle too deep in his chest.
