What does one do when Frantic Fanfic, that fic-shuffling site, hands you a story in-flagrante to complete, and you’re a somewhat-asexual n00b writer who has written a grand total of zero (0) sex scenes ever?
Reader, I drew a blank as wide as a desert! I panicked and went, “what happens during sex”? And my brain went “cock”. In despair, I wrote “he stroked his cock” into the answer box, cringing all the while, and it was the most stilted, awkward sex, real or fictional, that I’ve ever had the displeasure to be a part of. (To clarify: the sex was bad. Not the experience of writing it - that was hilarious and mortifying in a fun way lmao)
I’m sure this is a metaphor for something.
Anyway, I’ve been meaning to learn to write smut for a while now, and no time like the present, right? As Hugh Jackman says, What’s waited ‘til tomorrow starts tonight. So, on that 🎶note🎵 (Haha? Hah?), I’ve decided to work on writing sex for 30 days, and hopefully by the end of it I’ll know a sex word besides “cock”.
