Summary
Castiel hasn't done much preparation for the trip, too focused on ensuring Jack will be safe and well taken care of while he's away. Gabriel, he assumes, did even less to prepare for a week in the wilderness judging by the way his brother lounges in his canoe, paddle nowhere in sight. Sam looks a bit peeved, but is professional enough to keep his mouth shut.
Castiel had expected that Maine would be green, he's seen the brochures and heard it touted as ‘vacationland’ by coworkers who summered with the wealthy on the coast, but he hadn't thought that the Allagash Wilderness Waterway would be any different than Central Park, albeit a version that went on for miles.
He feels like he's just woken up, that every day before this one in gray, sterile offices and penthouses was just a dream.
The woods go on for miles in every direction, the water is cool and clear, there's grime under his nails, sweat beading down his spine, and when he turns around from his seat in the front of their canoe to see Dean's sparkling smile he feels a pull he cannot deny.
He's really not prepared for any of this at all.

Summary
Dean's dreamed of a beach vacation for years, though he pictured something more tropical than frigid New England waters. That's just the start of his problems: Sam's bailed before the trip even began, the only reason they're going to the beach in the first place is because two grocery store lobsters are pissed at him, and Cas - who's pulling some sort of deranged Disney princess thing - has decided that's his problem, and on top of all that Dean's starting to think maybe Provincetown is just a little more colorful than your typical beach town.

No problem, another couple can step in and get hitched in their stead. Except Cas self sacrifices himself all the way up to that altar, and what? Cas has some stipulations for marrying Dean. Demands too.
Viva Las Vegas! The Gambling Hearts Wedding Chapel is open for business! If you're looking for a reason to say 'I Do', this is the neon sign you've been looking for!

Summary
It's been a month since Castiel was retrieved from the Empty, and Sam's enjoying the peace, though everyone has been relaxing into retirement in their own ways. Castiel and Dean have chosen to hot box the Impala and interrupt Sam and Eileen's movie night. Luckily none of them are going to have any weird reactions to the documentary on bird courtship dances.
Right?

Summary
The photos leak on a Wednesday. Ilya sets his life and career on fire on Sunday, mostly out of spite. On Monday, he is the first out queer player in the NHL.
Nobody handles the ensuing circus well, least of all Scott Hunter.

Summary
Morals Clause: A contract provision that may be used in endorsement, spokesperson, and similar agreements to give the advertiser the right to terminate the deal, seek damages, or remove branding if the individual engages in actions bringing disrepute, scandal, or negative attention, protecting the brand's image and financial interests.
Yuna does her research—apparently, a morals clause is common, in contracts like this.
It bothers her, a little, how vague it is, but ultimately, she doesn’t see an issue with it—at least, not really.
Shane is many things, and she is so, so excited to see how much more he becomes… but, for all of the many things she imagines in his future, she doesn't think he's capable of doing anything that could be accurately described as scandalous.
She's wrong.

Summary
In the end, moving in with Buck is surprisingly easy.
It still breaks Eddie’s brain a little to think about it like that. This is his house, has been his house for years, the best years of his life, probably. This is where Christopher grew up, the place they both call home still. And sure, Eddie’s been renting it all this time, so it might not technically be his, but it’s close enough, right?
Close enough, except he moved all his belongings into a Uhaul and then into El fucking Paso, into what was supposed to be a fixer-upper and turned out to be some sort of haunted husk of a house with more problems than Eddie has hairs on his head, and now it’s not really home anymore, hasn’t been home for a while, except it also kind of never stopped.

Summary
Ilya was only a few strides behind Shane on the ice.
He clocked the angle before the hit even landed; Marlow coming in too hot, too fast, shoulder high. Shane turned and slowed at the wrong moment, skates clipping, balance gone.
Impact.
The sound carried oddly through the arena, duller than boards, sharper than ice. Shane went down hard, helmet skidding, body twisting. And then it all happened at once. Skates tangled. Marlow stumbled over him as he fell, too. A skate’s blade flashed too close, too sharp.
--------------------------------
Shane's injuries during the Boston/Montreal game are much more life-threatening than in canon. Ilya's quick thinking and bone-deep instincts are the only reason he survives.
