He yearns for the satisfaction reaped from when a hit lands cleanly, the terror in his opponent's eyes when they realize their life is coming to an end, the sound of blades clashing in a standstill position, the scent of perspiration and fear lingering in the air, the metallic taste of blood in his mouth with every hit and blow he takes. He thinks it might drive him insane.
