Summary
Act 1: Aegon's entire world shifts on its axis when a terrible storm brings Sunfyre down near the Neck. A mysterious woman saves their lives and as quickly as she enters--she disappears. Until he meets her once more at the King's Nameday tourney moons later. No longer wishing to be used as his grandsire's pawn he changes the rules the game and asks for his savior's hand in marriage.
Act 2: The Blackwood's and Bracken's have resumed their conflict once more after an altercation between the two Houses leave two Blackwood's dead. The King's judgement is harsh but fair. Aemond had not expected to have his hand in marriage given to Lady Brenna Blackwood as part of the deal. Although he is resistant at first, Aemond grows to care for his bride.
Act 3: With her father's health declining and much of the future crisis subverted, Helaena knows that it is time to approach her own marriage to Jacaerys. With her father's approval and an invitation to Dragonstone, Helaena leaves King's Landing for only the second time in her life and flies towards her future. While she's away, the Crown begins preparations for another royal wedding. This time for Westeros' future King and Queen.
