Summary
After what happened with Val, Angel knew he'd never trust any man again. But some powerful feelings start to stir after the exorcists attacked, which throws Angel head first into the one thing he swore to never repeat: Fall in love.
Husks world is turned upside down as he realises he's done what he thought he was incapable of: fallen in love with Angel, and badly.
But both of them are so very broken in so many ways and both Alastor and Valentino have their claws dug so very tightly around each of them, which leaves a problem: What will they do when Val or Alastor finds out?
Takes place straight after the events of 'The Show Must Go On'.

A beat passed before Shadow let out a long, exasperated sigh, dragging a hand down his face. “…You’re just guessing. And I fell for it.”
“One step ahead, Shads,” Sonic quipped, quick and easy, the words rolling out like second nature. "I will always be faster than you."
Shadow scowled. "You don't even--"
And then—without hesitation—he hooked a hand into the denim of Shadow’s jacket, tugging him forward. No stage, no spotlight, no race—just this. His people were here. His family. And it was time—long overdue—to cement that truth with Shadow.
Sonic leaned in, fast but sure, and kissed him full on the mouth.

After Sonic helps Shadow wake up from stasis and they escape the GUN base, Sonic finds himself in an unfamiliar place with Shadow, and he learns that it's Shadow's old home.
Shadow faces the past, but not alone. Sonic joins him as they go through the old laboratory together, and Shadow decides to open up to him -- sharing what took place in that lab, why GUN took him, and who he lost in the process.

What if Sonic was the one who found Shadow and woke him up?
After Tails studies the Master Emerald as a way to track chaos energy should anything ever happen to it, a startling discovery was made. Tracking a high amount of chaos energy from a GUN facility, the trio break into the base to check it out. And as Sonic explores, he discovers a hedgehog just like him, and is determined to set him free.
This is set after the second movie and Knuckles series. This will be a two chapter fic focused on finding Shadow and breaking him out of the GUN base, but I plan to write more for this in the future. Most likely, I’ll be making this into a series. Rated T to be safe.

Summary
Shadow knows he’s in love, he knows that, he’s made peace with the fact, kinda. That doesn't mean he enjoys it, but at the very least he knows what's happening every time his heart inevitably speeds up.
Aparently that’s not enough to stop him from making a fool out of himself. Not once, not twice, but a whole three times.
