Summary
Every single piece of footwear that Gale owned had been taken and hidden in places where footwear should not be.
Wyll's scrollwork had been reorganized and refiled on the floor of his tent.
Barcus Wroot had been trapped inside the travelers' chest three times now. He had elected, at this point, to just stay there until all of this was over.

Summary
A wizard’s magic, of course, offered the most variety: a textbook charm, as taught to young enchantment students, had a taste of saccharine sweetness to it that smoothed the edges of the mind like cough syrup. Actively resisting an experienced wizard’s Dominate Person could spur a pain so bone-deep it was nauseating; surrender, by comparison, was a glorious narcotic that slowed the conscious mind to a languid docility in service of the caster’s will.
But it wasn't enchantment magic, this.
(Prompt fill for the BG3 kinkmeme! The prompt: Gale/Gortash, dubcon/noncon brainwashing or hypnotism: Gortash has captured Gale (maybe he's doing a reverse uno and forcing the party to kill Orin for him). Unfortunately for Gale, he's far away enough from the artifacts protection that Gortash can try and take control of him.)

Summary
“There are better ways to go about this if I wish to speak to someone anonymously,” Gale points out. Shadowheart shrugs, winking at him.
“Sure, but this is possibly the most satisfying one,” she says, and fine, Gale can’t argue with that. But still. Such conversations are surface level at best, and transactional at worst. Besides, it’s not in his nature to consume live internet pornography. He has no desire to share such an intimate act with a complete stranger.
“I would really rather see a therapist,” he says.
Fresh out of a messy divorce, disgraced academic Gale Dekarios finds himself biting off more than he can chew when a seemingly innocuous encounter with an enigmatic camboy, Star, leads him down a precarious path of lies, liberation and eventually—love.

Summary
“I am not eager to throw myself upon another altar for naught but scraps in return.” Gale steels himself with a deep breath. He speaks his peace to the wilds and the cosmos rather than his lover's face. “And yet. Marble skin, silver tongue... eyes like Moonsea rubies. Oh, you cast a fine altar, Astarion.”
With two discerning appetites, a deal to keep each other fed is the one thing that ties Astarion and Gale together. But the proverbial collar slips all too easily around Gale's throat, the lead feels right in Astarion's unchained hands, and both men think they've bested the other in a game neither should be playing.
In any case. As the greats say in lanceboard: there is no shame in losing to a stronger foe.
