Loop 33,550,337 — thanks to Phainon’s efforts, the Black Tide was held back across most of Amphoreus, at least for a time.
In this loop, the tragedy of Mydei’s family never came to pass: no prophecy of a son usurping his father, no exiled prince, no son forced to slay his own father to end the madness and avenge his mother.
Instead, Mydei grew up in a peaceful, happy childhood with his parents in Kremnos. He became a gifted and responsible prince, beloved by his people — and from the moment of his birth, he possessed immortality.

Summary
If Mydeimos had to pick one trait of his that he was proud of, it was his restraint. Even if he never knew it was what he was made for, he still would have considered it one of his greatest character traits.
Phainon's entire existence however seemed to be made to test how much restraint he actually had.
