“So…so you’re a…journalist?” Frank looked at Gerard in disbelief.
“Yeah. They don’t have those on Earth?” Gerard raised an eyebrow at Frank, who looked like he was still reeling from everything they had just learned.
“And — and that ship you were on —” Mikey continued.
“Helena.”
“Fuckin’ Helena. It's hovering above this house?"
Gerard nodded.
"...and it was programmed to —” Mikey did his best to control his breathing, “to destroy this fucking planet?!” His sentence ended in a squeak.

TLDR: Zenith, a civilisation that prides itself in its advancements, is ready for a big (and insanely controversial) next step in their evolution, and it involves the brazen demolition of an unintelligent planet on the other side of the galaxy. Gerard, a dedicated journalist from Zenith, decides to investigate things for himself, and finds out if the planet in question is truly worth destroying.
But what he encounters is something well and truly beyond his imagination.

Another small noise hisses out between clenched teeth and then that small noise gets bigger, turns into a groan as Frank starts jacking himself in earnest, and he doesn’t— Frank doesn’t want anyone to hear. They won’t, it’s a stupid thing to even worry about because he’s alone, even the bus driver and sound techs having fucked off to spend their Saturday nights somewhere better than this smelly fucking bus, but years of sharing small, enclosed spaces with a half dozen people at the best of times has him on edge, wary of making any sound at all. He’s not thinking when he gets a hold of the hem of his t-shirt and drags it upwards, his nipples pebbling to hardness as the cold air hits them, stuffing a mouthful of fabric into his mouth. Something to keep him quiet, something to bite down on.
“Mm,” a low voice says, somewhere to Frank’s right. There’s a quiet hum to it. Satisfaction? Amusement? “Don’t do that. It was just getting good.”
Frank stills immediately, his eyes fluttering open.

Summary
Frank is a broke print shop employee in a failing post-punk band. He feels the guilt over his internet scams - are they really scams, though? He started with creepy older guys, but it got very tiring. The older women, on the other hand, are sweet to him. They pamper him, dote on him, and willingly give him money just for talking to them. Being a beautiful, kind younger man who listens, treats them like a person and is their friend, a boy they can spoil, while they’re lonely in their real lives. That’s not a scam, that’s practically a service, right?
Then, he meets a stunning woman on a forum who quickly turns out to be unlike any other.

Day 4 of writing a summary of a fanfic that doesn't exist: Gerard is an online scammer who poses as a beautiful woman to extort money from people.
