Cain Burns has a secret.
Their father is a monster that is tied to the sea, and their sire is a metallic creature that lives among the stars, and the both of them love each other very, very much, enough that they were able to produce yours truly, inspite of how they met.
(But good luck getting them to admit that.)
And now, their peaceful life on Griffin Rock is disrupted by the opening of a school made as a way to bridge the gaps between both their parents people, one that would house others like their sire, but younger. A school that would teach the youth of their sire's kind on how to save lives, both organic and metallic. A school christined as:
The Rescue Bots Academy.
Cain doesn't really think it's a great idea, considering Earth's, uh, other inhabitants, but who's asking them? no one, that's who.
Well, here's to hoping those bots are ready for Earth's nonsense, because as they say: it never rains, but it pours.

Shamrock has a brother.

A whole entire brother, a person who was supposed to be with Shamrock, a best friend fashioned of his own flesh and blood, far superior to any of the other children who mock him at times for being the product of his father’s fling with a less being. But now Shamrock will show them - he’s seven years old, he has a blade just as sharp as his father’s, he can go on a great quest to find his twin and bring Shanks home. That’s what his books talk about, grand knights and bold nobles locating mighty weapons and treasures thought long lost.
The storybook knights always come home victorious, always. And now, he will too.

He could have just lied, forget this whole thing had transpired, and let the wind take him back to the army he had created, the one he chose over the son he had currently standing right in front of him.
But to deny that he is Luffy's father is like killing himself in the process.

Summary
Back when the Virtues were falling and transforming into beats, Shadow Milk found himself plagued with a deep sense of loniness. All his former friends, the beasts, were slipping away from him and their motley crew was falling to pieces.
He couldn't stand idly by and let that happen so he decided the best way to bring them all back together was to introduce a few bundles of baby dough into their lives, making them come together as one big twisted family.
The mixture was prepared and the oven was heated but Shadow Milk never got a chance to bake their sons and daughters thanks to the machinations of Silent Salt and Dark Enchantress Cookie, leaving his plans and his family lost to time.
Until those very same children resurface countless years later, totally unaware of their origins. Fortunately their uncle Shadow Milk, recently freed from the prison of the Silver Tree, is more than happy to arrange a few family reunions!

After a moment, it seemed like Luffy suddenly understood something, and his expression changed to a mix of knowing and curiosity. "Usopp, what are you not telling us?"
Usopp shifted his gaze from the ship to Luffy. "What do you mean?"
"You're hiding something from us."
"There's nothing to tell." Luffy, please drop it, Usopp thought. This isn't like you.
But Luffy approached Usopp slowly, with his determined gaze that always meant he was ready to defend his Nakama, even if the threat was coming from within.
Whether it was on the battlefield or the deck of the Thousand Sunny, Luffy was not one to easily let go of something, especially when a friend's well-being was at risk.
On the other hand, Merry reappearing in Usopp's life once again complicated things for him.
