Alhaitham and Kaveh end up with a kid! Preferably around 10-12 years old. I imagine Kaveh saw him on the streets, saw he had a passion for drawing/architecture, and wanted to take him in, but go wild other than that. “Funny.” Alhaitham's voice got lower. “I seem to be handling you just fine so far.” His smirk was still there, but his eyes held a gleam Kaveh had never seen before.
“That is because we are just friends, Haitham.” Two could play that game. Kaveh was tired of being the blushing maiden everytime. “As a lover, I am much more demanding.”
That didn't get the reaction he was waiting for. Instead of retreating, his so-called friend's eyes widened, a shine of challenge in them. Were they getting closer?
“That seems like a hassle.” There was no bite to the words, but somehow, they still seemed scalding.
It was Kaveh's turn to smirk. “I haven't gotten any complaints.”

Desperate for work after the fiasco with the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh accepts a secretive offer that ends up going very wrong. With his career in shambles and his friendship with Alhaitham hanging by a thread, he finds himself with no other choice but to adopt the newborn whose life he'd ruined.
Reluctant of this new member in their lives, Alhaitham suffers to manage putting up with two whiny people inside his house, while trying to hide how deeply in love he is with his senior.
