Summary
Recently home from military service, John Watson decides he's ready to start dating. He signs up for an online dating website and gets a message from a mysterious profile. With a strange name, an intriguing bio, and a profile picture of nothing but white roses, there is little to go on. Still, he finds the mysterious person fascinating, and chatting with them quickly becomes part of his daily routine.
John asks for her phone number as his monthly subscription to the website is about to run out, and things are going so well with this mystery person. His mystery person gives it willingly, under one condition: she wants a picture of John in his military uniform.
Happy to oblige, John sends a picture to the number provided. Unbeknownst to him, he hasn’t been texting the same woman on the other end of the phone.

Sherlock’s words from their first night echoed in John’s mind. He’d needed to get Sherlock’s attention and do so quickly, and the fist full of hair seemed to do the trick. Sherlock caught himself just as a moan started to form, but not soon enough to prevent John from hearing the deep rumble.
“Did you leave this flat this morning with the intention to buy drugs?”
