Summary
“Eddie.” Steve says around a smile, and it tugs the strings of Eddie’s daydream balloon, sends it slowly floating back to Earth.
“Hm?” He responds, distracted.
Steve opens his eyes, squinting in the late afternoon sun.
“No, ‘Eddie.’ That’s what you’re writing.”
And -
Yeah, it is. Eddie looks down at his finger, the one that’s been operating on autopilot while he’s been lost in his thoughts, and watches as it finishes rounding out the curve of the final e.
Shit.
or - Eddie can't stop touching Steve. Steve doesn't seem to mind.

A frat bro and a metalhead walk into a bar…
And through shitty friends, a mistaken identity, and some dubious flirting end up in the alley.
Bonus: Eddie’s gross overuse of pet names, Steve’s oral fixation, and both having absolutely no chill about Steve being a pathetic loser.

Summary
Based on the short film "Sweet" starring Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. (It's on youtube and well worth your ten minutes!)
Henry's name is not Stitch, and he did not name his kiosk Sweet Music after Pete Sweet. Pete Sweet named himself after Henry's kiosk.
Henry Dulcy is just a regular guy who'd like to go on the occasional date and occasionally feel good about himself. Somehow, this desire has led to him having a completely useless friend and sidekick. He can handle the dancing and the matching shirts, but when Pete starts dating an imaginary girl (not even one he imagined up himself), Henry begins to question some of his decisions.Henry wants a real life. And a real life boyfriend.

Summary
It was, in an odd way, a bit like a task, where Alex couldn’t stop the timer until it had been completed. Or, more accurately, couldn’t move on from the day until it’d been completed. Which meant there was something he had to be missing, something he was meant to do but hadn’t.
Of course, if it had been a task, he’d’ve stopped the clock and let Greg deal with the inevitable disqualification in the studio. It was funnier that way, usually, though Alex did find he had a new appreciation for the contestants who thought they’d nailed it only to have to turn around and defend themselves.
It was certainly less funny in his circumstance.
