Summary
After the Avengers take Loki into their custody, Thor places a pair of handcuffs on Loki to keep him from using his magic to escape. Unfortunately, the cuffs actually expel his magic which hit each of the Avengers and give them each different types of his powers.
Loki now has to stay close to the Avengers in order for the magic to slowly expel itself from the mortals and back to its rightful owner.
Because if it doesn't, Loki will die.

Louise meets a curly haired cutie in the pub one night, it turns into a lock-in and one of the best nights out she's ever had. But surely these things are only meant to be for one night? Until a year or so later she spots her charming curly-haired stranger on the big screen. Before you know it they're back in touch, and realising just how much they enjoy each others company. But life has changed for both of them in that time. It looks like the only thing on the cards for the two of them is a close friendship... Or is it?

A quick note: The story is fully mapped out, and most of it at least partly drafted. I have multiple upcoming chapters already completed and ready to go and it's my personal passion to finish and upload their story for you. Meet Thomas Dowd, twice disbarred and desperately in need of clients to reestablish his all but defunct law practice. He has a lot to offer the furious woman sitting in his waiting room holding her whining child - but a good solid defense might not be one of them. And since Carly's ex husband left her with nothing but the house, she can't exactly pay for his services.
Enter romance...or something that sort of resembles it.

**This is largely fluff, with slow burning smut to follow. It will use many elements of canon, but it is distinctly NOT canon. So try to forgive me if I have characters make decisions or behave in ways they never would in the comics, cartoons, or movies. Try to enjoy them for who they are in the moment, because I've tried very hard to make them compelling and nuanced - even if they aren't perfect.
