Jason was going to walk away then, walk away from all of this stupid shit. He didn’t need to be here, he was handling the broken ribs and the punctured lung and all the other shit just fine on his own, Goldenboy hadn’t needed to break into his Safe House like that and he certainly hadn’t needed to force Jason to come to this stupid ass place.
He was fine, this pain was nothing, the trembling in his hands were only from irritation and nothing else.
The lights were too bright and the stench of antiseptic was making his head spin and if someone did not turn off that fucking beeping the next room over, Jason was going to shoot something.
Dick… Still hadn’t said anything.
Jason eyed him, waiting for the motherfucker to bring out another damn fluffy pen or an even stupider pun or something but Dick was just standing there like an idiot. Well, he wasn’t standing completely still at least, that would have been fucking unnerving.

Summary
Jason Todd works the night shift at Gotham's local graveyard. It's a simple job for his simple life. But he has three issues; the first are near constant nightmares from a life he never lived, with people he never knew and events that never happened. The second is a self proclaimed 'Dick' who only appears in the dead of night, and the last is the fact that a grave stone, has his exact name on it.

Jason Todd believes his past as Robin is nothing more than nightmares that plague even his waking moments. He revels in a derealisation of a past he never lived, but has to confront it nevertheless.
