Right as she was about to give up, turn around and head home with her tail between her legs, the door opened with a loud clunk while Lottie still stood there,weakly glaring at the callbox, finger halfway to the button with Scatorccio scribbled next to it, and glanced over to see that the blonde had froze midstep at the sight of her.
“Lottie, hi.” She said unable to hide the surprise in her voice, the sentence ending more high pitched, almost like a question.
Lottie cleared her throat and dropped her hand once she noticed she was probably doing a pretty good ET impersonation with her pointer finger still lifted and hovering over the button to the buzzer. “Nat, hi. I just uh… wanted to come see you, talk to you for a minute.”
