The late afternoon sun spilled across the living room, painting everything in warm gold. 007n7 sat on the couch, legs stretched out, shoulders relaxed for what felt like the first time all day. Shedletsky (his boyfriend of just a few weeks) was next to him.
A movie was playing, something neither of them was paying much attention to. 007n7 was too caught up in the feeling of Shedletsky’s fingers laced gently with his own. He smiled to himself.
Maybe, finally, things were starting to settle.
Then came the telltale sound of soft feet padding on the hardwood floor.
007n7 didn’t have to look to know who it was.
“Papa,” C00lk1dd said flatly, suddenly right beside them.

He peeked into his dad’s bedroom spotting 007n7 and Shedletsky curled up together.
Shedletsky’s arm was draped lazily around 007n7’s waist, their faces soft and peaceful in the early light.
But C00lk1dd was on a mission. He tiptoed closer, then climbed right up onto the bed, bouncing once before plopping down into the small space between them.
“It's park day!!” C00lk1dd exclaimed, shaking his father lightly.

The living room was cluttered with half-open boxes, folded blankets, unpaired socks and stacks of game cases that had yet to find a proper shelf.
Sunlight poured in through the blinds, striping the floor in golden lines as Shedletsky stood with his hands on his hips, surveying the chaos.
“Alright, partner,” he said, turning to C00lk1dd, who was perched on a box labeled miscellaneous, his legs swinging back and forth.
“Operation Move-In is officially underway. Your dad’s out running errands, so it’s up to us to make this place look like home.”

Besides the Spectre's game that is driving Elliot insane, another person named 007n7 also does the same. Said man haunts Elliot from dusk 'til dawn, the remnants of their past leaves a broken relationship between them.
Ask Elliot why he always feel infuriated around 007n7, and he'll give you a thousand answer... until he doesn't - can't find one.
“Is it that you fail to understand how desperate 007n7 has been trying?”
He stares at the palm of his hands for a while.
“Or are you just afraid you’ll lose yourself once more when you try to forgive and accept him? You’re just scared you’ll lose that sense of familiarity, aren’t you?”
This was the debt he wished he never owed – a debt he didn’t know existed up until now. Huddling into himself, Elliot slowly closes his eyes, wishing that he never had felt this way.
Or; Elliot never knew how much these memories and thoughts of 007n7 would haunt him this much.
