Alastor tries to smile politely, doing his best to look and put on a polite civilian act at his spot-on observation but he feels the mask slip. Should I just kill him? Just from that, he’s weighing if he should just end him now and get it over with, even if he seems far too sober and he’s still in the city so he can’t risk the noise. Or can he? This guy is small, can he cover his mouth quickly enough?
