Summary
Satoru had never understood the hype about Christmas.
How could he? It had never been a matter of the most importance in the Gojo Clan, and they only regarded matters of the most importance.
He’d been intrigued as a child–as children often are–by the lights on the streets beyond the estate, the hustle and bustle across the country. Satoru had asked his mother about it, once and only once, on the rare encounters he had with her. She told him he had no time for silly non-sorcerer events, and to focus on his strength and role as the Gojo Clan prodigy.
Satoru didn’t need the Six Eyes to perceive the animosity behind her words, so he didn’t speak of it again.
So yeah, he didn’t get Christmas. Not one bit.

Summary
“Suuguruuuuuu,” Satoru cries—
Suguru turns and shoves the lollipop into his mouth. Satoru cuts off abruptly, eyebrows jumping up as he closes his mouth automatically. His glasses are a centimeter away from sliding off his face, and Suguru pushes them back up without thinking about it.
“You’re disgusting,” Shoko gags, suddenly turning away like she’s been physically struck. “I’m going to bed. I hate you two. I’m killing you both in the morning.”
Suguru can’t help but laugh as she stalks away in the direction of her room.
Satoru unwinds himself from his arm, and there’s a faint smattering of red across his face as he takes the lollipop out of his mouth. “Where’s this from?”
Suguru shrugs. “I saw it when I was out today.”
“Oh,” Satoru replies, and his eyes seem a little dazed as he stares. The red doesn’t go away. “Thank you.”

Summary
Everything was dark.
What was left of his body, hurt. Throbbed. Stung.
The stimulation deprivation was driving his six-eyes crazy.
It was driving him crazy.
It was almost too much.
Until, it was too much.
In a heartbeat, sunlight overwhelmed his six-eyes, screaming from inactivity for who knows how long. From complete silence despite his own breathing, heartbeat, and screams that would scrape his throat raw, to blinding light and too many sounds for his ears to handle. That was of course, till he took his voice away from him too.
Despite the fact, a whimper clawed his way out of his throat.
Distantly, he heard someone call his name.
Yet, before he could acknowledge the voice, he was already falling to the floor.
Everything went black, and for the first time in a while, he was thankful for the darkness.

Summary
His energy is always dark, a purple so endless it could be black. Satoru likes poking around Suguru’s cursed energy, ever-changing and roiling with all the things he’s made up of.
Today, Satoru notices, it’s harsher than he’s ever known it to be while Suguru is idle. He looks more like a shadow, a stain of dark in the shape of his friend.
Suguru is withdrawing. Satoru cannot for the life of him figure out why. Only knows that he needs him to come back.
