Rin's journal.The week ended not with a victory on the field, but with a series of quiet, confusing intrusions. Nii-chan was home. His presence was always a cold comfort—a demanding shadow that enforced the perfection I needed to manage appear normal. The trauma of the accident and the endless therapy had taught me survival, but Nii-chan demands I find my own ego, whatever that is.
I spent my days perfecting my technique, my voice training, and my academics, trying to build a fortress of control where the fear and the pain couldn't reach me, because if it does I will turn in a failure.
The only breath of fresh air comes in the form of a tall, blond boisterous boy that enjoys calling me RinRin! The tips of his hair are pink and I kicked him in the balls when he tried to flirt with me because I thought he was going to bully me.
Shidou Ryuusei is the only person I could ever imagine to whisper a "Prone to violence. So cuuuuute." And keep talking to me after I cause him.pain.
I wonder what would he think about me when he discovers I am a disabled boy. What would he think when he knows I'm missing an arm.

The idea of snatching Wings’ helmet off emerged from the depths of his mind, but Sae’s words crept up alongside the idea, ‘What if he was ugly, wouldn’t it ruin this fantasy of a pretty, fuckable boy that you keep entertaining?’
Before he could come to a decision, however, Wings unexpectedly shoved him off and swung at him to punch him in the face. His fist missed its target as Ryusei dodged this attempt on his person without much effort.
“Phew, Wings. You don’t know what you do to me,” Ryusei purred, avoiding Wings’ swift kick aimed at his stomach.
