Arthur Lester didn't believe in ghosts. So, checking the attic after his daughter drew a creepy yellow demon named "Mister Doe" is just to make sure there are't any animals up there. No other reason. Except the Piano that looks freshly cleaned. The piano that is still in tune. The piano that when Arthur started playing it, summoned a demon in a yellow cloak.

Summary
Loneliness was insidious. It killed by numbing the soul to any other sensation so that, when you finally did die, it was like nothing changed.
Wanting was somehow worse. It was faster, but it hurt. It rotted the soul as it raced through you, leaving you and your desires a crumbling, ashen mess.
