Summary
Evan "Buck" Buckley thought he had left his past behind when he traded his Navy fatigues for turnouts. For years, he’s buried the memories—of war zones, of a lost lover, of the life he swore he'd never return to. But with a series of arson attacks across LA, his past comes back to haunt him.
NCIS are called to investigate and Buck’s carefully constructed web of secrets begins to crack when Sam Hanna arrives at Station 118—because Buck knows him. Sam was once his teammate, his mentor, his brother.
When a grainy surveillance video reveals a face Buck thought he’d never see again, the ground shifts beneath his feet. Zack, the man he mourned, the man he watched die, is alive.
Working alongside NCIS and his old SEAL Team, Buck finds himself walking a dangerous tightrope. The deeper he gets, the more he risks everything—his job, his family, his friendships and the life he’s built with Eddie and Christopher.
But secrets can’t stay buried forever.

The Eye Knows and Sees all, but it cannot understand. That’s what the Archivist is for, to experience, understand, and archive terrible knowledge and fear, and filter that back to the Eye. If Jonah Magnus is the Pupil of the Eye, then Jonathan Sims is the brain that processes what the Eye and Pupil see, for the Beholding does not possess the neural pathways required to feel, let alone understand, fear. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask) that is about to change.
What happens when a knowledge-seeking entity that cannot think is directly linked to a (lonely, stubborn, morally strict, self-deprecating) human who thinks plenty enough for the both of them?
Or:
the Beholding gains sentience and promptly realizes: life is unfair and existence is pain, but at least it has its funky little Archivist.Jon, freshly woken from a six-month coma, gains a loyal, if annoying, companion during his lowest point.

Summary
Luffy grows up in Marineford. This changes things—a lot.
Sengoku is convinced she should've been a pirate and Garp is just so damn happy and proud. She's got three Admirals as over-the-top dads, a pirate Sir courting her, and a chain-smoking handsome best friend. Now that she's finally set sail, regardless of rank and being enlisted, Luffy will make sure she (and her crew!) will be roaming the seas freely and spreading Liberated Justice, no matter what any old geezers tell her.
She may have ended up a Marine, but she still wants the One Piece and to be called the Pirate Queen!

Summary
Taylor Kelly knew she was probably a shitty person. But most people were shitty people, so she wasn't the only one. Whatever. She had the dirt, and she was often petty, so she could have easily published the book she wrote about the 118 and Buck's life as a firefighter. But that wasn't what she wanted to be known for. She wanted people to be obsessed with her and her writing, her story telling, not just her ability to manipulate and present information in alarming ways. She still works on stories, on getting air time, but she's a little out of her depth. She doesn't exactly know how to blend in seamlessly everywhere she wants to go to get the bigger stories. Except she knows someone who can and has blended in seamlessly nearly everywhere they went. He wasn't petty, either. He always left that to her or Eddie Diaz. It's fine. It is. Because Buck would honestly just show up to see what the hell she was up to.
She just wasn't exactly prepared for him to look so good and be the friend she had been needing. In all honesty, though, Buck was a fantastic wingman.
