“Who goes there?” He says, but no one answers back. He turns around slowly as his vision adjusts to the pitch black room.
“Captain,” Eurylochus says, and Odysseus stumbles backwards onto the ground, chest constricting as his breathing begins to become erratic. The man's face doesn't form fully, a vague silhouette of someone he once vowed to protect stepping towards him.

Summary
Ten months. It had been ten months, nearly a year, since Odysseus had enslaved Antinous as his prisoner. You'd think making the man watch his father and fellow men get brutally murdered in front of his eyes would have squashed the fight out of him.
Alas, he was wrong.
Odysseus wonders how much longer Antinous can last until he finally breaks and submits to the king.
