Because liking Yeonjun was an understatement.
Soobin was fucking gone for the Omega.
He wanted him so bad, it was hard to concentrate. Dance practice was a nightmare with the Omega’s expert hip rolls designed to give Soobin a slow, painful death. Hangouts were even more brutal, with Yeonjun just further cementing himself as the sole occupant of all of Soobin’s mind space. The blonde Omega’s passion and drive and excessive flirtations made for a potent mix. Soobin felt that Yeonjun’s personality served as his own personal poison, carefully portioned out in doses designed to kill him slowly.
With one look—no, with his existence alone—the Omega made Soobin’s heart feel like it could burst.
There was no doubt about it in his mind: Choi Yeonjun was absolutely, entirely, 100% the perfect Omega for Choi Soobin.
And Soobin had no idea what the hell he was supposed to do about it.

Summary
Creating a song like The Killa was a process, a long and grueling one. One filled with flirting, teasing, and tension.
Between writing, recording, dancing, and performing the song, Yeonjun was slowly losing his sanity. Soobin consistently stayed on his mind, no matter how much Yeonjun tried not to think of him.
And it was all thanks to this stupid, stupid song about a "fox".

“I like it when you take care of me,” Yeonjun mumbles softly, words muffled with sleep. “It’s my favourite thing in the world.”
It’s just like Yeonjun to say things like that—skirting silly and sentimental in one breath like it’s nothing, as if it doesn’t flow into Soobin’s veins and shake his soul.
“I like it when you let me,” Soobin says, speaking to the darkness above them. How intimate it is—he realises—to be in Yeonjun’s bed after midnight in the dark, surrounded by lingering traces of his cologne, to sit in his bed as a welcome visitor and touch his hair in a way so many others have only fantasised about. It’s almost too much to have felt so close to Yeonjun all day, to have watched him fall apart and helped piece him back together, and Soobin wonders if these were all lines he shouldn’t have crossed because now everything between them feels different and though Soobin can’t pinpoint why, he can pinpoint exactly when.

Or: When Yeonjun's first relationship comes to a mysterious end, Soobin revisits feelings he thought he buried a long, long time ago.

Summary
