Summary
“Alright,” Eddie replies and he’s suddenly in Buck’s space with an arm around his waist and oh Buck’s aching in a whole new way now. Eddie is keeping his gaze trained on the wall as he guides Buck into the tub and holds his arm as he lowers himself down. Buck’s not proud of the guttural groan that slips out once he’s in the just hot enough water, tipping his head back and sighing in relief. Eddie is hovering in the doorway, eyes on the wall above the bath. He makes a move to leave, hand on the door handle before Buck stops him.
“Stay?” Buck asks softly.

Summary
“Oh my GOD,” Maddie repeats, suddenly taken over by a fit of laughter.
“Hey Buck,” Eddie coughs, “you wanna put a shirt on?”
“Soon,” Buck repeats slowly because why is everyone being so weird this morning. Eddie makes his way over to Buck and pointedly hands him the sweatshirt in his hands.
“Hey Buck,” Eddie says again. “You want to put a shirt on.”

Summary
“You love her,” Buck says quietly as the cat darts back into the kitchen, rubbing herself against Eddie’s legs. And yeah, he does. She grew on him really quickly and sleeps in his bed every night, usually curled up next to Eddie’s head.
“Yeah, yeah. You made the right call,” Eddie acquiesces with a fond eye-roll. Buck grins delightedly, practically bouncing over to Eddie to pull him into a hug. Eddie makes a surprised ‘oof’ as Buck squeezes him tight, ducking his head down.
“Thank-you,” he murmurs, his voice muffled by Eddie’s shoulder. “For indulging me.”

The one where Buck gets a cat and ropes Eddie into looking after her. Not that Eddie needs much convincing, he'd do pretty much anything for Buck at this point.

“Tell you what,” Eddie croaks, swallowing around the lump in his throat. “If you can look me in the eye tomorrow morning when you’ve sobered up and say that again, we can have a conversation about it. Deal?”
“What if I’m not brave enough in the morning?”
“Here,” Eddie says, pulling his phone out. He only fumbles a little as he opens the camera and passes it to Buck. “Film yourself saying it. I’ll leave the room, and if you want to show me in the morning we’ll go from there.”

Summary
Buck tilts his head up as Eddie approaches him, a soft smile on his face. Without even registering what he’s doing Eddie leans down and presses a soft kiss to Buck’s lips, before flopping back down into his chair to cut the avocado.
“Wanna split?” he asks, holding the seedless half out. Buck doesn’t answer and Eddie looks up – Buck's eyes are wide and he’s blinking slowly, two fingers resting on his lips.
“You kissed me,” he breathes.
