Kim saw Chay's eyes flicker to the front door. Chay was very many things, all of them important and precious, but a fighter was not one of them. The odds of Chay managing to outmaneuver Kim in a dash to the door were very, very slim.

“No, you’re not”, Chay shoots back, completely unreasonable, “because Wik would never!” Then the door gets slammed in Kim’s face.

“Go! Away!” Chay shouts from the inside and the lock clicks close for emphasis.---*---*---
Khun has put up some mistletoe. Everyone gets to enjoy the spoils. Except for Kim. Life is not fair.
