Summary
Megumi had known Itadori Yuuji for less than a day. Yet, He was kind, brave, and selfless. He’d defended his brother to the end, even as they fought one another. If Sukuna were to die now…what would that do to him? What kind of person would that make him into?

“Regardless of whether he’s a vessel or not, Sukuna consumed a special grade cursed object. Regulations would mandate he dies, no matter what.” Megumi took a deep breath, lifting his chin to look Gojo in the eyes, even with the blindfold as a buffer. “But I don’t want him to die.”
Gojo was silent for a moment, even though his lips had stretched into a smile. It was rare, really, for Gojo to come anywhere close to resembling genuine emotion, and yet in this moment…in this moment, Megumi knew he was dealing with the real Gojo.
“Is that a personal opinion?” Gojo asked, with his genuine, sad little smile.
“Yes, it’s a personal opinion,” Megumi returned. “Please save him.”

“Ah, go boil yer heads, both of yeh!” Hagrid suddenly yelled, and both Dursleys fell quiet and skittered back against the wall in fear. Hagrid turned to Effie then, face softening somewhat as he took her in. “Look at me, Effie.” She lifted her eyes to his only somewhat reluctantly. “Listen, right? What they aren’t tellin’ yeh—it’s not right, it’s not.”
Effie nodded when it became clear Hagrid wasn’t going to continue without a response from her first.
Hagrid took a deep breath, looked her right in the eyes, and said, “Effie—yer a witch.”
A moment passed, and then two. The only sound was the crackle of the fire.
She pinched her elbow.
Hagrid stayed where he was, eyes still full of kindness, revelation hanging in the air between them.
She wasn’t dreaming, was she?

Satoru paused, feeling ice cold at the sudden words. “Sukuna? Hasn’t it been months now since you heard from him?”
“Years,” Yuuji corrected, staring blankly at the empty page of the notebook in front of him. “And…not him.”
“...Eh?”
“Well, him too, but I have another brother,” Yuuji said, all in a rush. “A half-brother. On my mom’s side, apparently, which is crazy and insane and—and two million other synonyms for crazy and insane that I can’t think of right now. He wants to meet me. I—I don’t know what I should do, Sensei.”
What a loaded question to ask. Fortunately for Yuuji, Satoru was perfect in every way, which made him the best possible mentor figure he could have asked for.

Summary
After the fact, Satoru returned to look for the pink haired sorcerer.
He had thought at first that the sorcerer that saved him might have been an illusion. Something conjured up by his mind in his last moments, a handsome savior come to pull him out of the trenches and restore him to his glory. Except the boy was real, and he was lying right where Satoru had left him, looking only slightly better than he had when Satoru had started fighting Toji.
Which was to say he was lying there still, face pointed to the sky. His cursed energy was a mosaic, patently strange, exceedingly rare. For the first time in a long time, Satoru wasn’t able to read someone with the Six Eyes. Or at least, he was so confused about what he was reading that he might as well have not gotten the input at all.
One thing he knew for sure—whatever hole this boy had crawled out of, it didn’t belong to this world.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Izuku said, even though he knew exactly what Kacchan was talking about.
Kacchan rolled his eyes so aggressively Izuku was mildly worried they would roll out of his head. “Fuck you,” he informed Izuku emphatically. “I know that you’re not exactly over your crush. You and I both know that the literal worst way to get over a crush is by continuing to tie yourself to him in increasingly complicated ways, like living with his fucking family. So, why?”
“Shouto thinks that I’m made of glass,” Izuku said. He said it to the nutritional label of a jar of miso paste instead of to Kacchan himself, though.
Kacchan sighed. “You’re trying to prove something to him.”
“I’m trying to help him,” Izuku corrected quietly.

About a week after that, All Might asked Izuku if he was aiming for the hero course at UA. The question was so sudden that Izuku nearly dropped a microwave on his toes.
The truth was, if All Might had asked him that a week ago, there would have only been one possible answer to that question. All Might had gone to UA, UA was the best, so Izuku was going to go there too, if he could. But things were a little different, now that he was going to receive All Might’s Quirk.
“No,” he said, decisively.
All Might looked caught off guard, which was a very rare expression on him. “No?” he echoed, like he couldn’t believe it.
A laugh bubbled out of Izuku’s throat. He honestly couldn’t believe it either. “No,” he repeated.

Monoma nodded, though, running his hands through his hair again. This time, however, it served the purpose of smoothing his hair down instead of riling it up. “Well, go then,” he said. “You clearly want to, now that you’ve got your answers. I won’t antagonize your friends again. Trust me, I definitely won’t do that again.”
“Right,” Izuku said. “I should go.”
“You should.”
Izuku did not go, bouncing on the balls of feet as he thought instead. This was probably one of the worst ideas he’d ever had. And he had a lot of contenders for ‘worst idea ever had.’ “Do you—” he broke off, not sure how to phrase this. Directly, maybe? Direct hadn’t ever really been his thing, not when it came to words, but... “Do you want me to go?”
“What?” Monoma looked up sharply, eyes wide with surprise.
“Do you want me to go, or do you want me to—” He gestured between them, then winced at the awkwardness. Monoma raised one slim eyebrow in the low light, and Izuku cringed. “Yeah. That.”
“You,” Monoma said, stopping to swallow mid-sentence, “are...offering?”

Summary
There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.

What kind of operation…led to a hero and a vigilante being thrown into a cell together?
Judging by the look on Phantom’s face, he was thinking something very similar. There was a noise from further in the cell, though, and his body language shifted, his eyes lighting up with a touch of fear as he squared his shoulders as much as he could square them. “We’re not alone,” he warned Shouto.
Shouto raised his eyebrows, turning his attention to the depths of the cell.
“What’s this?” a voice rasped, from deeper in the cell, darker, the part covered in the most shadows. Phantom flinched at the sound of it, and there was a rattle, a clink, and Shouto realized that the third member of their company was more heavily chained than them. A moment later, and the second realization hit—that meant something. “A new person to join us in suffering?”
Another shuffle, another clink, and the owner of the voice finally stepped into the little bit of light coming through the window on the door. The light caught the edge of his hair, so dark it almost looked black, but Shouto knew better. He knew better.

The crew turned back to their chatter, all of them going about their tasks with a renewed vigor. All of them were excited by the prospect of their new prey, and she was no exception.
Shouto quietly joined her at the helm, pausing for a moment before he rolled out his map. He flicked her ear unexpectedly, and Momo covered it with a hand, despite the flick not hurting very much. She cast him a questioning glance.
“You’re missing an earring,” he said.
“Oh,” Momo said, dropping her hand as a grin crept across her face. “A surprisingly crafty mer stole it from me. I think I ought to get it back, don’t you?”
“In that case,” he said, as he finally spread out his maps, “I better chart your course.”

Momo is a pirate, pursuing a treasure. Izuku is a mer, protecting his heart. They meet each other somewhere in the middle.

Katsuki smothered a strangled shout in his throat as he watched in muted horror as the screen hovered in front of his face, though the words on the screen were what really hit home.

The boy in question suddenly looked nervous. “I know, Kacchan.”

It isn’t just possible. It’s downright guaranteed. There’s no such thing as never meeting your soulmate, assuming you have one in the first place. She is right here in front of him. She is in his class. She is the same age as him. Even if her parents had sparkling skin or a sibling of hers did or even a random person somehow produced the same effect with their Quirk as she did with hers, she is the one.
It’s unfair. It’s so unfair.
Izuku wants to laugh. He wants to cry. He wants to scream, and shake his fist at the universe, and ask whoever is listening why.

Shaking that thought away, Bakugou turned his attention to the present. He had no idea how he had ended up here in his childhood home, when just moments ago he was neck deep in a fight for his life. Now, even with his mom shouting downstairs, everything was just...calm. It almost felt unnatural to him after everything they had been through. He noticed his phone and scrambled to snatch it up, clicking on the screen. The date was the same day as the battle, but something settled into his stomach, and he quickly tapped onto the calendar app...only to drop his phone in shock.
Rushing to the mirror to see his reflection only confirmed what he saw on his phone, and he did not know how to respond.
Really, what do you do when you find out that you have been thrown back five years into the past?
