Jayce blinked, swaying into his saviour, unsteady.
“Shit,” she muttered. “Viktor, he’s fucking heavy, can we come in?”
Jayce looked up, and found a deep honey-gold gaze inspecting him closely, edged in black.
After a few long moments, the tall man sighed and stepped aside. “You and your lost puppies, Vi. Fine, but if there are Enforcers following him, I’m giving you up in a heartbeat.”
“Uh huh,” she said, her eye roll audible.
“Where did you even find a broken Piltie?” Viktor swept passed them, slim skirt trailing on the floor.

After Jayce Talis blows up his own laboratory, the Council banishes him from Piltover. But he escapes, making his way to the Undercity to continue his quest to invent magic.
