Summary
The silence of his tent was shattered by sudden yelling, panic yelling at that which had him on his feet and out the flaps in an instant, hands digging into his vest to pull out his knives in ready for the intruders or the Marines that even dared to try and invade him, only to drop them all in shock as his eyes landed on Luffy who was sitting amongst the chaos.
Luffy who didn’t care that there were dozens of weapons aimed at him, that he had caused such panic… Luffy who was covered once again head to toe in bandages.
“Leãozinho!” Buggy breathed out in relief as he rushed forward.
OR Luffy worries his Tio sick before popping up to celebrate Buggy's birthday.

“I don't think it's a joke anymore," Penguin said that night in the crew bedroom, a propos nothing.
“Which of your bullshit pranks are you talking about now?" Law's tired voice piped up from behind the mountain of fur that was Bepo.
“That dad's our- I mean, that Cora-san's our dad.”
It started out as one, Penguin was pretty sure. When they first called him the crew's dad, it was a dig at Law's adamant denials of the man being his father.
But then they all started calling him that to the point where his bounty he got at a failed supply run had him put down as “Wanted: Dad" (a copy of which hung in at least three different rooms on the sub), and that prompted them to get him a “best dad" mug, and they had all that rules for keeping him safe written down-

There was a moment of silence, broken only by the soft plinks of water droplets falling onto the stone.
"Defeated by Monkey D Dragon," Crocodile sighed, eyes slipping closed. "What a joke."
"Luffy," the boy said, a propos of nothing.
Crocodile cracked one eye open, glancing at him. "Hm?"
"My name. It's not Dragon."
"I wasn't talking about-"
"Dragon would be a cool name tho," the boy scratched at his cheek. "But you’re gonna get defeated by Monkey D Luffy. Get your names straight, Gator Man!"
Crocodile snorted. "This's got to be the most hypocry-" He trailed off, the words only now registering in his mind. "...Monkey D Luffy."
Or, to quote a tumblr post from may, "Luffy calling Dragon mum bc Crocodile said he was his parent first and clearly there can only be one of each"

Summary
